How to use the Yankee calculator
Enter the accepted decimal price for each of four selections. Choose “Stake per component bet” for the unit stake on your receipt, or “Total combined stake” for your complete cash outlay. Set each result, then calculate. Changing an input hides the old result until you calculate again. Use the odds converter first if your prices are fractional or American.
How much does a Yankee cost?
A Yankee has eleven separate components and no singles. A £1 line stake costs £11; 10p per line costs £1.10. A total stake must divide equally into eleven whole-penny amounts. For example, £11 works out at £1 per line, but £11.01 cannot be split that way. The calculator rejects an uneven split rather than changing your budget.
Follow the £1 Yankee example
With A=2.00, B=3.00, C=4.00 and D=5.00, all won, the six doubles return £71, the four trebles return £154 and the fourfold returns £120. That makes £345 returned. The complete cash stake was £11, so net profit is £334. Each row above shows one original component, including its returned stake.
What if only two or three selections win?
If A and B win while C and D lose, only the A+B double survives. It returns £6 from the complete £11 stake: a £5 loss overall. If A, B and C win while D loses, three doubles and one treble survive, returning £50 and leaving £39 profit. With one winner and three losers, every line contains a loss, so the ordinary win Yankee returns £0. These examples assume no voids or concessions.
A void is different from a loser
If D is void and A, B and C win at 2.00, 3.00 and 4.00, D contributes a multiplier of 1.00. All eleven original components keep their stakes. The total return is £109, not the £50 produced when D loses. Components that become identical after the void are still separate bets. With all four void, this cash model returns the full stake.
Pending results are conditional
With A, B and C won and D still unsettled, £50 is confirmed from the lines that exclude D. The £345 total is conditional on D winning at the entered price; it is not an amount already paid. Use “Not settled” while the outcome is unresolved.
Yankee, Lucky 15 or Super Yankee?
A Lucky 15 calculator adds four singles to the eleven Yankee components. Keep the total cash budget in view when comparing them: our equal-stake comparison explains the difference. A Super Yankee, also called Canadian, has five selections and 26 components; use the general system calculator for that structure. With three selections, use the Trixie calculator.
What this tool covers
- Per-line or total stake
- Won, lost, void and pending selections
- A return for every original component
Cash win bets only. Each-way systems, free bets, bonuses, price boosts, Rule 4, dead heats and cash-out are outside this calculation. Returns are rounded per component to the nearest penny, with half pennies rounded up. Operator rounding may differ.
